Miguel Ralão Duarte rode under the supervision of Guilherme Borba at the Portuguese Equestrian Art School. After a number of periods working abroad in Italy and the USA he has now returned to Portugal and is head of a training stables not far from Lisbon. Miguel Ralão has ridden his Lusitano mare 'Oxalis da Meia Lua' successfully at the highest international level and is a multiple dressage National Champion. He is reputed to be an excellent instructor and trainer with a style characterized by classic riding theory but which also concentrates on encouraging the horse in dressage.
